The rainy summer has finally come to an end. It's time to sweat again, when the next Gazometer is flooded with pulsating life and sudorific sound. Not only the 4 star DJs are guaranteed to care for an fantastic atmosphere at the next XXX GAZOMETER on oct 12th, but also the unique show of Living/FX, who will make the halls shake. In the long awaited second part of the show-series the power of the earth is transformed into pictures and sounds.

Xperience©, the Gazometer Show

The second part of the show Xperience© is part of a quattrology, straining through all four events in 2002. The series THE FOUR ELEMENTS is about the elementary powers of the universe which touches and forms all our destinies: Fire, Water, Air and Earth.

The first part, shown at the event in March, was about the mighty element FIRE, with all it's fascination it has for humans since the beginning of civilisation. In the second part the power of the earth is transformed into pictures and sounds. Non of the 4 elements has such a mystic power as earth. The unbelievable dynamic of matters is shown in a synergy of rhythm and movement. For this first Xperience© show the legendary LIVING F/X are returning to their place of birth, the Gazometer, where they started with their first experimental shows and where they had their biggest successes. Now again they will lead the audience into their magic world.

Visuals

Together with the well known Videoartist Fritz Fitzke - among others VJ of Kruder-Dorfmeister shows - a special light and video concept has been developed, which leaves the borders of a screen, using the complete domed walls as space for a virtual universe.

DJ Mary has been into electronic music since the end of the Eighties, when he started polishing his turntable skills with a refreshing choice of hard funky music, enriched with EBM (electronic body music), Acid House, New Beat and others. His deep love of electronic music has produced an equisite music taste, which is the primary source of inspiration for his work. Ten years of DJ-ing experiences, ardent dedication, and a unique choice of music (varying from one set to another) have modelled a DJ, who enjoys big respect and popularity at the Croatian electronic music scene. He uses his technical skills to perfection, playing with mathematically structured Techno sequences and moods, while hypnotising the audience with relentlessly driving beats. For a change, he loves to shake them up with some groovy, harder Techno-House as well"I have made it a rule to myself to always play music from the soul and with the soul. Not just matching the bloody beats - there must be more to a set than just technical perfection. My original plan and the fundamental reason as to why I'm doing the things I do, was to always present something new to the audience - new sounds and new energy."

Kaiser Soze

Kaiser Soze has played since 1995. He started in Depo No.8 in Olomouc. In the beginninghe played house and than he went through house-tech to pure techno in all ofits kinds (hard british, pumpin', detroit, deep).

Kaiser Soze plays regular in many clubs all over the Czech republic andhe has residency in Depo No.8. He is one of two creators of leading czechdance magazine BASSLINE.

KAISER SOZE played on these actions:

- ORION HALL in Brno with Steve Bicknell and Thomas Schumacher
- CITADELA the best regular techno event in Czech with Andreas Kraemer and Funk'd'Void
- OVERTHERE in Prague with Clemens Neufeld
- EVOLUTION the biggest party in Czech Republic ever (about 8000 people) with Colin Dale
- X-FLEX in Brno with Joel Mull, Heiko Laux.

Kaiser Soze playes regular in Slovakia too, in club EXTREM, last time with Gayle San.

One day a week Kaiser Soze produces an event called CLUBBING - Tech news on radio 103 FM in Brno. He started his own club serie VORTEX.

Marco Bailey

After more then ten years of hard work as Producer and DJ, Marco Bailey has reached a level and reputation to be proud of. We are no chauvinists if we say that this Belgian DJ can handle his international colleagues without any doubt. But there are only two reasons why he got where he is today: Sacrifice & Dedication.

This led to the fact that top artist Carl Cox asked him personally in 1999 to release records on his new label "Intec Rec". In the last 8 years he has done some striking consortium from releases on high quality labels like Primate, Zync, Tortured, ... as well as on his own label Session recordings. On this label only quality production will be released, by international DJ's such as DJ Rush, Jay Denham, The Advent, Claude Young and by Marco Bailey himself.

In 2000, he started together with Cristian Varela a new label with the name pornographic recordings. It becomes more and more populair with great work of great techno producers like Umek, Tim Baker, Oxia, Q-hey,... and of course marco bailey and cristian varela.

In the beginning of 2002, Marco started again a new label, his own "mb elektronics" with reworks of Chester Beatty from Japan. New releases can be expected in the near future with reworks of Bryan Zentz, Rino Cerrone.

For one more time he proofs that he belongs to the big international artists.

Adam Beyer
Drumcode/Stockholm/Sweden-Exclusive:The only Austria Set in 2002

Adam Beyer became dedicated to the fascinating world of rhythm early on. After playing the drums as a teenager his obsession turned to the decks. In 1990 he bought his first set of turntables and started spinning a wide range of hiphop, hiphouse, acid and techno at local parties and clubs. Beyer soon learned how to blend his sets in a thoughtfull and highly focused way, a Adam Beyer sites Drumcodes 1 (Planet Rhythm 1995) as the first record to define his style; hard, percussive and loop oriented. This 12" names Beyer's future label and was soon followed by his critically acclaimed debut album Decoded (Planet Rhythm 1996). His need to create the perfect dj tool gave rise to the launch of the Drumcode label allowing him total musical freedom.

Adam Beyer's focused djing and uncompromising production style has brought him to the global arena of techno, continually playing clubs and releasing records all over the world. Despite his young age, Adam Beyer has become one of techno's leading figures.

GAZOMETERTRAXXX: Earth (Vol. 17)



Already fort he 17th time a GAZOMETERTRAXXX CD is released just in time for the most successful event, the Vienna Gazometer. For the 10th year anniversary of XXX Productions the superstar MARCO BAILEY was hired to not only care for pulsating sound at the event on October 12th, but also to mix and compile the new GAZOMETERTRAXXX: EARTH. As one could expect, a great collection of first class techno hits and rare jewels was created, with which the Belgium DJ has enthused his growing fan community over the past years.
